The INN Between seeks to end the tragic history of vulnerable people dying on the streets of our community by providing a supportive safe haven for those with nowhere to go during a medical crisis.

Before The INN Between, no options existed for terminally ill and medically frail individuals without shelter, leading to an average of 50 deaths on Salt Lake streets each year. Its role as the area’s ONLY medical respite provider is vital to the community.

Since self-reliance and personal responsibility are core values of the program, it strives to provide resources such as a laundry room to help clients take pride in their responsibilities. As of 2025, 151 individuals have passed away sheltered and comfortable at the INN Between.
