HomeAid America’s, now 30-year old mission, is to rally the home building community to provide a secure place to rest and recover to our friends who are experiencing homelessness. Did you know that 85% of the individuals who use our homeless resources are NOT Chronic? They have become homeless through unfortunate life circumstances such as medical crisis, sudden job loss, escaping domestic violence, a victim of sex trafficking, aging out of the foster system, the disability of the breadwinner, or the inability to keep up with the rising cost of rent. They simply just need a place to catch their breath, sort out their circumstances and utilize various resources to get back on their feet. These are typically NOT the highly visible and sometimes criminally prone individuals we so often associate with the “homeless.”
To learn more about homelessness in Utah and how WE as a building community can be a major contributor, we INVITE YOU to attend the HomeAid Awareness Breakfast on November 13th, 8-9am.
You will have the opportunity to associate with the members of our HAU Board, https://www.homeaidutah.org/board-of-directors , and many others from the home building community and their associates.
Seating is limited so please RSVP promptly if you plan to attend.
If you are unable to attend but would like to support us in our mission to end homelessness, please click here.
